Portugal – tipped as a top getaway for 2018

A recent travel segment on US television pinpointed Portugal as the rising star of the travel scene. On "CBS This Morning: Saturday," CBS News Travel Editor Peter Greenberg gave his picks of top places to visit this year and made Portugal his first choice. Greenberg cited the country’s high standard of living and low cost of living as being prime among the attractive qualities luring tourists to the country.

He also noted that, in a sign of its strengthening tourism status, 15 new hotels are currently being built and opening. Another plus noted was the number of restaurants that had received Michelin stars last year alone, indicating that Portugal has plenty to offer in terms of a world-standard dining scene.

FFA Real Estate’s PRATEATO development, a first-of-its-kind in Portugal, is taking place at a time that the country is enjoying growing interest from around the world, as both a leisure destination and a place to live and work. PRATEATO is situated in Marvila, a Lisbon neighborhood that is an emerging tech hub. As such PRATEATO incorporates state-of-the-art technology to offer its residents next generation living, along with ample communal space and greenery to feel inspired every day.
