Dominica significantly reduces citizenship investment fees

Tue, 2017-09-05 12:32 -- admin

Significant reductions to the investment fees, equivalent to a saving of $40,000 for a family of four, have once again made Dominica’s citizenship investment program among the most attractive of its kind in the world.

The new price structuring, effective September 1, 2017, means that:

  • A family of four can acquire a second passport for the Caribbean country in four months after an investment of $304,000, down from the previous $344,000.
  • For a family of six the investment totals $319,000 compared to the previous $369,000.

These totals reflect the reduction in the main applicant’s investment to $285,000 instead of the previous $310,000.

The benefits that Dominican passport holders enjoy are many, such as visa-free access to 119 countries worldwide, including the UK and the Schengen Area, with both of these remaining unaffected in the future by any UK decision to leave the EU.
